Family Night

Welcome to family night!

Have you noticed that everything around you in day to day life encourages you to separate the generations from one another? From schools to churches to sports and recreation, our culture and society  promotes learning and doing within one age range.

The impact on the church is substantial because our faith is passed from one generation to another. Deuteronomy 6:4-9

This fall we are hoping to encourage generational discipleship! To do this we want to invite you, your kids and grandkids to:

Family Night on Tuesday nights

Beginning September 25th at 6 pm

We will be sharing a meal together and continuing with worship, bible study and play together. Lessons are appropriate for all ages as we DIG IN to the bible.

Let’s instill and grow faith within the context of community, relationship and mentorship!

There will be no family night on December 25 and January 1, February 19 and April 2.

Digging Into the Bible in Two Years takes kids and families on a whirlwind journey from Genesis to Revelation. Families experience a relationship with God through the eyes of ordinary Bible people. All will discover that they’re a lot like people God has always loved and worked through.

Our night looks like this:

6:00 pm-Family Dinner (view menu here)

6:45 pm-We begin our lesson

Each week will have a short (5-10 minute) video.  A lesson follows the video.  Family reflection on the lesson and craft and/or game is up next.  Finally, we end the night with dessert.  All activities tie back to the weeks lesson.

8:00 pm-Dismissal

This program is once again for families to come together and dive deeper into the Bible. We encourage all families with kids from age 4-5th Grade to join us on Wednesday nights.

W.O.W. takes place in the Kids Zone location.  Look for the Kids Zone flag near the NW door of the main building.  We meet each Tuesday, 6:00-8:00 p.m., end of September through mid-May.
