Cookie Speet, Director of Children’s Ministries
Cookie Speet is a Registered Nurse and received her degree from Butterworth School of Nursing in 1979, the same year she married the love of her life, Mark. Since her hire in 1995, Cookie has served as the Director of Children's Ministries and the Director of Kids Hope USA for Coopersville Reformed Church. She says, "My passion is to encourage the nurturing of kids in a loving Christian environment." She and her husband have four kids and five grandchildren. She loves life, enjoys bird watching, playing with babies, and going barefoot everywhere! email Cookie Speet

Louise Boom, Director of Youth
Louise Boom is mom to 3 kids Brian, Jodi, and Tom, wife for 27 years to a great husband named Bob, and a twin, being the oldest of a family of 7 kids with her sister Lynn. Louise adores her family and she adores youth! In the past 15 years she's taught Sunday school, led Bible schools, ran a Christmas program or two, and been a leader of youth group. Why does she adore youth? "Because they have such freedom in expressing themselves, a great humor at life, and a willingness to try anything once." Her hobbies include walking, sewing, biking, reading, and playing games. Her passions are the power of prayer, sharing God-stories, and being around people. Life for Louise can NOT get much better than spending a day with friends, family, or kids by the beach, or around a campfire, or anywhere outdoors. email Louise Boom

Carol Riemersma, Secretary
Carol Riemersma has been the secretary at Coopersville Reformed Church since 1987. During the past 20 years, many changes have taken place in technology, i.e. a bulletin prepared on the typewriter is now done on computer, and there's fax machines, email, and internet. In addition to being the church secretary, she also serves as the church organist, playing for Sunday services and for the Senior Choir. She and her husband enjoy camping, walking, and being grandparents. email Carol Riemersma
